Please send us your question(s) to info@politicalendar.com for direct answers and to assist us in creating a Frequently Asked Questions catalog. • Events includes details of events, often fundraisers, that may include Receptions, Party/Organization Meetings, Community/Town Hall Meetings, Rallies/Speeches, Ticketed Events, etc. Anyone visiting the site may view Events on the calendar. Once you register with PolitiCalendar.com (a free service), you have the option to add an Event to your personal calendar, RSVP for the Event, and/or make a contribution to the Event or Sponsor. • Sponsors are organizations that hold political events and that have elected to register with PolitiCalendar.com. They may include candidate campaigns for public office, issue campaigns (e.g., referenda and constitutional amendments), political parties, PACs, Charities and Non-profits, political clubs and other organizations (e.g., League of Women Voters). How do I add an event or sponsor to this site? After registering and logging in, you can post events and sponsor profiles under the Event Management and Sponsor Management menus. When you do so, you will be the "event owner" or "sponsor owner" and will have exclusive authority to edit, cancel or delete what you have posted. You may "hand off" that responsibility to another person by sending us a request by email (info@politicalendar.com) with the new "owner's" contact information. Events need not be associated with a sponsoring organization, but you will be prompted to associate them if you choose to and are authorized to do so. |
